  • In any hand with a Jack, unless the hand is already a winner! – 4 to an open-ended Straight, four into a Flush or 3 to some Straight Flush or Royal Flush – refuse all cards only keeping the Jack
  • In any hand with only one card Jack or better, maintain the single superior card and reject all other cards and redraw.
  • In any hand holding one pair less than than Jacks, keep the pair and reject all other cards – unless the hand is four to some Straight or 4 with a Flush
  • In any hand holding a two-pair, retain both pair and reject the odd-card.
  • In any hand with three-of-a-kind preserve the 3-of-a-kind and refuse the other two cards.
  • In any hand holding 4 to some Straight, maintain all four Straight cards and re-draw – unless the Straight draw is not open-ended and the hand is having a Jack)
  • In any hand holding four to a Flush, preserve the four Flush – unless the hand holds three to the Royal in which case you would draw to the Royal Flush
  • In any hand having four-of-a-kind, hold almost everything since a 1-card draw won’t enhance the cards.
  • In any hand having three to some Royal Flush, reject everything else and go for the Royal – unless of course the hand is already a Sraight Flush!
