A list of common winning hands starts with jacks or better, moving on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It definitely goes without saying that the pay out schedule can change from game to game, so that experienced bettors are agile enough to choose the most money-making ones each time.

After the initial round has played out, the player can either decide to remain on and try to to increase their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any cash that they may have won. Further, several versions of the game allow the bettor an opportunity to increase their wins, in which situation another hand is played. There are also differences between specific games, with some decks of cards including wild cards and other differing characteristics to increase playability.
