Electronic Poker is a beloved game that is able to be gambled on in casinos around the world, or alternatively at home on your personal computer, using a net connection. The game rules are very straightforward and involve the player trying to get the greatest assemblage of cards as you can in order to win cash. In this respect it’s very similar as a regular game of poker, without the involvement with other players. The game of Video Poker begins when the player inserts credits (either tokens, tickets or cash) into the video poker machine and presses the play button. A hand of five cards will then be electronically ‘handed out’ on the screen.

The Electronic Poker machine also has buttons with ‘hold’ written on them, and enthusiasts should now decide which cards to hold and which to discard. For the cards the gambler wishes to retain, the ‘hold’ buttons must be pressed so that they illuminate. The player can choose to keep any amount of cards they want, from all to none.

After the bettor has selected which cards he or she wishes to keep, they should press ‘draw’, at which point any new cards will be dealt if desired. The round is now finished, with the Video Poker machine scanning the cards to see if it is the same as any of the winning hands printed on the pay out schedule.

Typically, the minimum winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money increasing for each and every better hand. A list of common winning hands starts with jacks or better, moving on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It definitely goes without saying that the payment schedule can vary from machine to machine, so that skillful players are able to select the most profitable ones each instance.

After the initial round has finished, the player can either decide to stay on and try to to increase their earnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any cash that they may have won. Additionally, some versions of the game give the player an opportunity to double their wins, in which case another hand is played. There are also differences between individual games, with some decks of cards including wild cards and other varying aspects to enhance playability.
